What would you find on the farm?

This half term our focus is all about the farm. I wonder if you have visited a farm before? We have been reading our key text, ‘What the Ladybird heard,’ listening to farm animal noises, talking about Mummy and baby names for animals and playing with lots of small world . We have also been shopping in the farm shop and painting pigs to add to our display board! We shall add some more photos of our amazing creations as we create our own Froglets farmyard!

Christmas in Froglets! 🎄

We have had a wonderful week of festive craft and play and are still completing some lovely activities to take home soon! We have been filming our Christmas singing which we will share with you next week too.

Thank you for all your support this term… we look forward to welcoming you back in 2022 and meeting some new faces too! Have a happy and healthy Christmas! The Froglets team x

“Wow! Said the owl.”

This week we have started our new LCC book… “Wow said the Owl!!”

This is a fabulous book all about colour and we have lots of colour based activities in Froglets too. I wonder if you can spot any colourful owls when you drop your little one off in the morning?

If you don’t know this story or have it at home please check it out on You Tube.

Poppy Day 2021.

Today we learnt all about Remembrance Day. We talked about remembering the people who died in the wars and all made our own poppies. We watched ‘My first festival…. Remembrance Day’ on CBeebies and talked about what the poppies mean. We will all be wearing them home to show our families.

What makes me special?

As part of our LCC (Learning Challenge Curriculum) topic this half term we have been painting ourselves! We used mirrors to check which colours we needed to use and carefully used brushes to paint each feature. We have also been using buttons, ribbons and googly eyes to make faces and using play dough too! We have loved sharing our baby photos with the class and thinking of how much we have changed! We think all the Froglets are special and have loved sharing this weeks learning together. Our focus text is, ‘I like me!’ Which you can find on YouTube if you would like to watch it at home.
